Dr. Katy Mudry and Dr. Erin Keck guide their patients as they develop a more active, pain-free lifestyle. With their patients ranging from newborn children to elderly citizens, the doctors assess each individual situation to provide the most appropriate care and attention. Rooted in the belief that “health is not simply the absence of sickness,” Dr Mudry and Dr Keck aim to promote a positive lifestyle centered on expert chiropractic support.

Dr. Katy Mudry

Dr. Katy Mudry is a native to the Carlisle / Boiling Springs area. She is the daughter of the late Dr. Betty A. Hughes who formerly owned Hughes Chiropractic Center of York Road in Carlisle, Pa. Dr. Betty A. Hughes was a well respected doctor of the greater Carlisle area and Dr. Mudry is dedicated to carrying on the tradition of exceptional chiropractic care.
Dr. Mudry attended the University of Pittsburgh where she obtained her Bachelor of Science and then went on to receive her doctorate from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Dr. Mudry is an experienced Doctor of Chiropractic and specializes in Diversified and Thompson techniques. She is always up-to-date on the cutting edge advancements in the chiropractic field. She continues her professional education by attending seminars and classes, broadening her chiropractic knowledge.
Dr. Erin Keck
CHIROPRACTOR
Dr. Erin is originally from North East Pennsylvania but has happily lived in the Carlisle area for several years. She stumbled upon Hughes Family Chiropractic Center while searching for a practice to shadow for her externship portion of chiropractic school. Post graduation, Dr. Erin covered Dr. Katy’s maternity leave and has been a part of the Hughes Family Chiropractic Center family ever since.
Dr. Erin attended Marywood University where she obtained her Bachelor of Biology/Science and then went on to receive her doctorate from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York.
Dr. Erin specializes in Diversified and Thompson techniques. She continues to stay up-to-date on the ever growing advancements in the chiropractic field by attending seminars and classes, broadening her chiropractic knowledge.
Dr Mark Swallow
Chiropractor
Dr. Mark is originally from Philadelphia and relocated to Carlisle with his wife and two daughters after graduating from New York Chiropractic College. He is passionate about the role chiropractic care plays in promoting overall health, well-being, and long-term vitality.
Dr. Mark attended Penn State University, where he earned his degree in Kinesiology and discovered his passion for chiropractic care.
An experienced chiropractor, Dr. Mark specializes in Diversified and Thompson techniques, as well as soft tissue therapy. He is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attends seminars and continuing education courses to expand his knowledge and better serve his patients.
Tracy Buikema, LMT, CPC, ACC

Tracy is a highly experienced Licensed Massage Therapist and transformational coach who blends therapeutic massage, intuitive touch, and nervous-system-focused techniques to support relaxation, pain relief, and emotional well-being. Her massage offerings include therapeutic and relaxation massage, myofascial techniques, hot stone therapy, prenatal massage, aromatherapy, and compassionate bodywork for clients experiencing grief, stress, or life transitions.
As an iPEC-trained Certified Professional Coach and ICF-credentialed ACC coach, Tracy helps clients build resilience, set boundaries, and navigate personal growth with clarity and confidence. With more than 25 years in the wellness field and nearly a decade teaching massage therapy, she brings a grounded, empowering presence to every session-meeting each client with warmth, skill, and wholehearted care.
Jessica Hughes

My name is Jessica Hughes, and I am the controller at Hughes Family Chiropractic Center. I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Katy and her growing team since the business opened in 2011. While I cover reception duties on Monday’s, most days focus on insurance billing and accounts receivable.
Outside of the office, I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and I love watching my kids’ sporting events.
I enjoy working at Hughes Family Chiropractic because I believe in supporting wellness through every season of life.

My name is Angela, and I am the office manager at Hughes Family Chiropractic Center. I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Katy and the team since 2022. I truly enjoy getting to know our patients and helping to make them feel better.
When I am not at work, I spend my free time with my husband and our two dogs, often hiking and camping. I also love reading and cooking.

My name is Ashley, and I’m the newest part-time employee at the office. I’ll be around more often once my youngest goes to kindergarten.
I’ve worked in healthcare for 20 years, doing tasks from patient care to billing and medical records.
I’ve known Dr. Katy since we were kids in daycare.
I’m married to my husband for 11 years and have two girls. I love animals and wish I could rescue all those in need. I live on a small farm with horses, goats, and a turkey. When I’m not at home with family and animals, I enjoy going to the beach!
